Young People

We have a number of activities for Young People in the church.  Why not take a look and see if you would like to join in?  You will be very welcome.

Toddlers Groups

Wednesdays and Fridays, 10 am to 11.30 am.  For parents and toddlers.

Our two lively Parent and Toddler groups provide a welcoming space for you to enjoy a chat and a coffee whilst the toddlers get involved in games, crafts and singing!  Cost: £1.50 per session

Crèche

Sundays, 10.30am.  For children under 3.

We provide a crèche during Sunday morning services, to allow parents of young children to have a brief break and to be able to focus on worshipping God.

Junior Church

Sundays, 10.30am.  For 3 years old upwards.

Children join with the rest of the church for the start of our main morning worship, then, after a short family talk, go out to join their groups for Bible teaching and fun activities.

Pilots

Thursdays, 3.30pm to 5pm during term time.  For primary school age children.

Pilots is a URC Children’s Club that takes place at Farnham United Reformed Church on Thursdays (during term time) from 3.30 – 5pm.  We welcome boys and girls of primary school age.Pilots is a non uniformed club where children can work towards badges in areas of service, interest, talents, overseas, worship and prayer.  A typical evening can include a variety of activities; games, crafts, painting, cooking, stories and acting.If you would like more information regarding pilots please pop in and speak to one of our leaders on a Thursday afternoon.

Cost: £1 per session

Youth Group

Sundays, 4.30pm to 6pm during term time.  For 10 years and over.

Youth Group at the URC welcomes boys and girls 10 years and over.  You do not have to be a member of a church.  The youth group meet every Sunday during term time at 4.30 -6pm at the United Reformed Church.Activities include quirky team games, outings, cooking, crafts and film nights.  The youth group members decide the programme at the start of each term so they very much ‘own’ their group.  Check out our programme and other youth group posts.

Messy Church

At Farnham Methodist Church. Every second Saturday of the month 2-4 pm

Child Protection

As you would expect, we take child protection very seriously.  We have an up-to-date Child Protection Policy, and all our helpers are required to undergo DBS checks and other training as necessary.
